Hey HN!

I'm Freddie and I created this resource during some research I was doing. I hope it helps job seekers know what to expect from the recruitment process before applying, so they can make more informed decisions and have a better recruitment experience.

I've added 100+ companies (and growing) that are transparent about how they hire in one form or another. There's a lot of general information, but many are also specific about the Engineering process. Check out the README in the Extensions tab for more information. Hopefully you find this useful and please let me know if you have any feedback. Thanks!

P.S. Because of the limitations (also outlined in the README), I'm looking to standardise the content and format on a third-party platform. I'm working on a pilot in the background, which you can sign up to find out more about at https://www.howwehire.fyi

I like these niche job boards. Green jobs is of course very topical. Kind of like RemoteOK and 4DayWeek. What’s your criteria for companies/jobs to be considered “greenish”?

Interesting input ... Determining whether a company or job is "greenish" typically revolves around their commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. I do dig deeper and assess each opportunity individually to ensure it aligns with my green values: 1. Companies that are engaged in the development, production, or promotion of green technologies. This might encompass renewable energy, clean transportation, sustainable agriculture, or green building practices 2. Companies that are dedicated to achieving carbon neutrality or are actively involved in efforts to transition to a carbon-neutral economy 3. Companies / Organizations in renewable energy, electric vehicle manufacturing, waste reduction, and sustainable agriculture are typically green by nature and may be interesting for potential job seakers

As of now, I've selected companies that undeniably prioritize these sustainability criteria. Your question raises a valid point: what should be done about companies that fall somewhere in the middle of this spectrum? I believe that such companies may not hold significant appeal for job seekers who are specifically looking for opportunities deeply aligned with these sustainability principles.

What do you think? Maybe I can lookout for certifications etc. to "qualify" companies?
