Mine was $499, and is made of slightly better materials than the average ikea desk (i've owned plenty of those, nothing wrong with them). Guess SD should have been advertising them on Apartment Therapy!

It looks like the desk is $499 but that doesn't include the price of the desk-top. Is that true?
