We use it at TinyCo and have for more than a year. We love it, the food is awesome.

The service is great cuz there's food variety, quality control, and ensures proper delivery time (because ZeroCater tracks delivery time).

Additionally, you can order food to be made on premise from certain vendors (like Crepes).

Oh and they catered our Halloween party.

The only issue I have is it has made me gain weight cuz the food is good and I've been stress-eating.

ZeroCater is one of those companies that’s quietly growing like crazy. They provide something people love and they generate real revenue. I think YC has a few companies that are under the radar until something big happens, like Weebly or Twitch TV, with a large financing round. Then, people realize how significant of a company they’ve become. Arram wrote a great post about the early days of ZeroCater that's worth a read:

We use ZeroCater at our office and absolutely love it! Each day we get different food delivered that is catered to our company's preferences. I highly recommend them to any startups!

Has anyone had any experience with the service? It sounds almost too good to be true, and much simpler than having a high paid employee running around coordinating Chinese food orders.

We just switched to it at our office and the service and food have been great. You really do need to find the right mix of price, choice, and health for your company, but for us it was a great fit.

We use ZeroCater and I can't recommend them highly enough!

I know for a fact it feeds a ton of the YC companies.

I think they'll do great in NYC. The city has an order out culture, and many financial services firms cater dinner. (Many bankers have dinner at the office every night) Law firms and accountancies too. The price point looks very appealing.

We use ZeroCater at Apportable as well. It's so much better than ordering it ourselves.
