I don't know, I don't entirely understand it either, but I think people are just impatient. AI coding has only hit it's stride in the last ~6 months. And there's a huge part of the business process that isn't coding, isn't necessarily amenable to being sped up.
All I can tell you is that it's happening right now, every day, on my desk. I am part of that software explosion that you can't see.
Not arguing, but a few facts: Most vibe coded things are web sites. Not games, though surely assets are being generated as we speak. MS Office is a product of corruption, not developent, it can't be killed outside of political means.
