We don’t study Ted Bundy and Auschwitz guards in the same criminal justice textbooks for a reason. If you blur those lines, all you're doing is flattening history into a meme and not understanding it.

One acted independently, driven by compulsion. The others operated within state machinery built to normalize and industrialize killing.

Lumping them together ignores scale, motive, and structure.
