James Earl Jones:

> George had hired David Prowse, but he said he wanted a so-called "darker" voice. Not in terms of ethnic, but in terms of timbre. [2004]

I guess this means that Vader's voice will be machine more than man now.

James Earl Jones gave life to some of the most memorable characters in film history. His voice and presence will echo through the generations. Rest in peace, and thank you for your powerful legacy.

I know people remember his voice for Vader.

But I think Thulsa Doom from Conan was a prime character he portrayed. Intimidating and soft. Scary, yet beguiling.

Voice of my childhood. Thank you for all the memories.

R.I.P. great Commander Adama.

Commander Adama was played by Edward James Olmos, and in the original 1978 series, by Lorne Greene.

My mistake. Thanks for pointing out
