I take your point, but in fact there are multiple ways one can contract HIV that does not include engaging in intimate and amorous endeavors.

While copulation is the #1 form of transmission, others include:

- Sharing needles - Blood transfusion and organ transplants - Occupational exposure (healthcare workers)

Being judgmental does not move science forward. Politics is simply uninteresting.

Purely out of pragmatism, it seem easier to vaccinate people than convince them to stop having dangerous sex.

Fighting the symptoms instead of the cause isn't really pragmatic, in my view. But well, that's not really the website to have a real talk about the subject.

Or, you know, work to reduce suffering in the world. Regardless of whether the people suffering "deserve" help or not. It's what good people do.
