If anyone thinks that product managers enjoy being Jira monkeys and doing tedious documentation, you would be mistaken. I think most PMs will embrace AI, loving that it frees them to do the actual job of talking to people and directing where the product will go.

And there are plenty of teams working on this - I expect we'll see a strong competitive landscape in this area over the next year.

But the answer comes down to the same thing as any other area - AI will change how teams and processes operate, and people will either adapt and thrive... or not.


yep, exactly. I think PMs will be doing a lot more decision-making and talking to users/leadership/eng in the future
