I used to have Cartoon Wars 2 on my phone, until the developer/publisher did away with the servers, rendering the game unplayable. It was a nice time-waster every once in a while. Unfortunate that nothing similar exists anymore.

Do you mean just the multiplayer, or is the whole game broken now? (Or was it multiplayer only?)

I found some footage, looks pretty cool! Looks like it was made in Flash, or at least the art / animations.

The whole thing unfortunately, the game is mainly singleplayer but if I remember it needed to phone home before starting new missions on the campaign, so I couldn't actually play it once the servers died. This was a while ago so I could be misremembering but it was along those lines. Its a shame since it really was one of the best mobile games of that era, and came with a ton of content: 7+ campaign maps, each mission with an alternative "hero mode" which had completely different gameplay, Hell and Christmas themed modes, and tons of units, heroes, and spells to use. You'd only get to equip a few units and spells per mission, so trying out different combinations was important to clearing levels.

My phone doesn't support any game that I would like to play on a touchscreen.

(I'd play word games, interactive fiction, and roguelikes. None of these are available on PureOS.)

Yeah I have a few basic puzzle games and solitaire. Fine for wasted time and absolutely infested with ads.

I also have Civ6 on my phone, rarely play it though, the Ui on PC is much nicer. I bought it because I thought it would be neat to have on flights or something, but I wish I could get the dlc I paid for on PC.
