Allegations were made against 12 individuals, that is 0.04% of the UNRWAs workforce: "UNRWA has over 30,000 employees, most of them Palestine refugees [...]".

Leaving out the reference scale for a number is bad reporting at least.

Please, the group is always responsible for the activities of its members. Employers more-so for their employees where actual legal responsibility lies.

There's a trivially small number of gun owners who are shooting up schools; but many people have no problem condemning the group. Only a select few chick fil a employees dislike homosexuality but it's fine to boycott the establishment.

All that just to say the actions of the few do reflect on the whole.

Chick-fil-a was the company donating to anti-gay-marriage causes and the COO made some pretty nasty comments.

And people don't mainly criticise gun owners. They criticize the laws making it possible for crazy people to have access to guns.

It is not like hamas support was part of their official UNRWA duties.

Then certainly the actions of Israeli leadership and the IDF represent Israel.

It is surprisingly well timed just after the ICJ ruling, as if meant to hide the actual news.

I don't like being conspiratorial, but most of the people employed by UNRWA are Palestinian refugees. Just by looking at the numbers it shouldn't be surprising that there was some overlap.

I thought when Donald Trump did something similar back in 2018, it was a big no. How come everyone is now rallying behind this? Something is fishy.

They discovered that some of the workers were involved in the terrorist attacks that killed over a thousand Israelis (most of whom were innocent civilians).

It's good that they are willing to revise their stance in the face of new evidence.

Sadly we'll never know how many of those civilians were killed by Israeli attack helicopters and tanks firing on their own people. Wouldn't surprise me if it was at least half of them. In which case maybe the US can also stop funding Israel and the conflict will soon come to an end as the region finds a new balance.

ICJ ruled against them. They need to discredit the UN now.
