Is it really? They are randomly replaying captured whump calls. It's communication of sorts and is interesting+ facilitates further research, but it leaves more to be desired. I was hoping for some transfer of information/meaning/intention.
For example how different is this compared to soliciting wolf howls from human Wolf howls etc?
