TBH, lately I don't see any posts on this conflict, of whatever bias or perspective, lasting long enough on here for people to discuss.
Maybe it's a deliberate policy of HN mods, maybe it's because most users on here are just tired of hearing about it/want one place on the internet at least where they can escape from it. Either way, many people would argue the outcome is good.
