I think you would be hard-pressed to find someone who always uses the word “every person” to mean “each and every person, without exception”. It is, unfortunately, not mathematical.


The thing is, for example myself, I don't pay for any streaming services.


You're probably not a "regular person".

Most here on HN would fall in one of these categories; Nerd, Film Buff, Niche Fan, Cheapskate + hyper tech savvy, Collector etc. categories.

We aren't regular people ;)

I think there's an implied "every person [that I know whether this is true or not of them]" in normal speech.
