My experience exactly. I honestly don't know how someone can think that Docker is a solution to anything. At best it's a shortcut for the lazy and incompetent but it doesn't lead to a bright future. Of course, the people setting up this kind of crap are never really responsible for actually maintaining the thing properly so they don't have to care. Of and it creates a lot of job positions that are kind of interchangeable regardless of actual competency. The whole thing is a poor attempt at Fordism for software development.
