What's the hardest part about doing retrospectives?

The hardest part is phrasing your wording so that you get the benefits of bragging or shifting blame without looking like that's what you're doing. It's called social intelligence and it feels amazing when it comes together.

When you mention blaming do you mean trying to hold someone accountable when they've done something wrong?

Coming up with action items that are actually implemented afterwards.

This is definitely a challenge. You can spend an hour coming up with great ideas for how to improve and then forget all about them as soon as you start the next project. I've seen that happen a lot.

Have you tried any solutions for this?
