I apologize if this isn't permitted - feel free to remove this post.
I'd like to introduce a new subreddit I'm starting called Sustainable Computing - /r/sustainablecomputing. This is a computing-focused subreddit (does not have to relate to just PCs or laptops but computing devices in general, as well as devices controlled by a computer) and information around it's manufacture and sustainability in regards to the environment, energy usage, and various topics.
It's a relatively broad topic that I think it shares an overlap with many people's interests here on HN. I'll understand if you don't want to go to Reddit, though! In that case, just ignore this post. Sustainability and climate issues are a hot-button topic - especially going in to 2023, but I felt that more tech-focused poeple would be interested in discussing more tech-related topics surrounding this important aspect of sustainability.
/r/sustainablecomputing - if you're already on reddit - come check it out, there aren't a lot of topics posted yet, but I'm hoping more people would like to participate.
