Say I had an project that produces a file that people will subscribe to get access to said file. Is this what you would use to sell it? Why not say shopify?

The usual suspects are SendOwl, FastSpring, Gumroad (not a big fan of the UX to be honest), or some industry-specific marketplace (music albums, graphics templates, 3d models, etc. all have big ones).

That really strikes me as a better use case for Square or Gumroad than either Shopify or KillBill.

And shameless plug... sytescope.com lol You can have password protected sections or email digital products after purchase.

Shameless plug -You can use my stuff sytescope.com $20/m CAD
