Also consider looking into Zone 2 training. Here's what I do: 1h of low-level cardio a day. Just to the point where I can have a conversation with someone, where I can still breathe through the nose. Surprisingly, at the end of this, I'm still soaked in sweat, but I don't actually feel exhausted or as if I'm pushing myself very hard during the exercise. At the end of the day though I sleep like a rock. I typically listen to some audiobook or podcast, which gives me something to look forward to and makes the time pass more enjoyable. I heard about it on the Tim Ferriss podcast (the episode with Rich Roll—what a silly name, but the guy is cool), and then looked the subject up.
