How should we think about the concept of discrimination in cases like this where it’s based in reality? I’m not sure.


If every person's ability was assessed the same way, but the 80 year old applicant didn't meet the standards and wasn't hired, is that ageism/discrimination, or is it the right way of doing things?

If a job has a requirement and someone doesn't meet it then they simply won't be able to do the job.
