His plane has landed in Munich, ~10:20PM PST.

So russian oligarchs plane entered EU airspace despite the ban, interesting. Guess 2 legged oligarchs are better than 4 legged ones.

It also flew over Canada.

An AI I was talking to speculated it was a Gold to Bitcoin exchange that took place.

I'll bite.

AI? Of your own?

Somewhat. It's GPT-3 set and primed with code I wrote.

1 thing is for sure, american intelligence will know exactly who and what was aboard. I suspect that plane won't be taking off again.

Unfortunately it has already left. The sanctions process can be slow but I am sure there will be a lot of sweeping of dirt under the rug in Silicon Valley. Violating sanctions is a very big deal.

I am sure there will be a lot of sweeping of dirt under the rug in Silicon Valley.

Why?

I think there may be a lot of hand washing because of dealing with sanctioned individuals before they were sanctioned. It leaves a bad taste to deal with someone who has ties to Kremlin but you don’t dare to ask due to greed element. Next thing you know, the person you took money from turns out to be sanctioned for being the custodian of a war criminal. What do you do next?

I’m speculating here now but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was so hard to trace Putin’s wealth to be sanctioned , because some of it could already be deeply embedded in the US financial sector. No need to look far. Take a look at Manhattan real estate.

The degree of separation via shell companies often provides some plausible deniability and moral licensing but in light of the Whitehouse creating a new task force to sniff those connections out , we may see some interesting stories come out.

Those are unpleasant and very difficult questions to ask that will have to be asked. I hope I’m wrong here, but my cynical side thinks otherwise.

If you think these theories are far fetched, and that people are beyond corruption look no further than former chancellor of Germany being a board member of Gazprom, or former ministers of Finland and Italy who also resigned from board of directors. Lots of British high society cutting ties with Rosneft and Gazprom too.

Money can be a powerful corrupting force.

Evgeny Lebedev and Oleg Deripaska are great examples. There is so much Russian money in western politics.

This is coming out now. The Russian propaganda has been operating on traditional media to large degree but much much worse on social media.

At exactly the same time, how many people have been banned on twitter lately for political opinions on what should happen to Putin? While they allow this russian propaganda?

Sure looks to me like Twitter is pro-putin.

Can you give us a few examples of the twitter accounts banned for being anti-putin?

checks twitter. Yep still banned. Cant help sorry.

I was simply discussing the reality that diplomacy is over. That the Russian people would need to show us something rather specific to reopen diplomacy at this point.

This political opinion according to twitter deserves a ban. Well, the reality is that a very large number of people will be breaking this rule the same way. This is without question a simple fact.
