What worries me is that in search of diversity we might lose the goal of objective verifiable truth that is more often than not (IMO) denied, labeled as propaganda, and politicized by certain typically right-leaning groups. You need not go watch fox news to get an unbiased picture of how the world is, you need to get FACTS instead of opinions and you need a certain analytical/critical toolset, not a diversity of unbased opinions.

Which facts are discussed and shared is itself a function of bias.

Thus, seeking facts without considering bias is a recipe for bias.
