But does it color anything other than girls?

Yes, after Alice from Alice in wonderland, there’s a few manga guys.

Later, this old man not anime style is presented: https://github.com/lllyasviel/style2paints/raw/master/temps/...

well, after scrolling through a good chunk of the examples, I found a cat

I also found and noted the cat, then more non-cats, then one starfox.

I’m guessing the answer is along “if you have a good enough dataset to train with, yeah”

Whoa. I don’t know how to draw. But this motivates me to play with the combination of drawing and Algorithms like I’ve never felt before.

I remember this when it was first online as a web app and it was a pretty big hit amongst Manga fans. I remember someone was finding the server costs but then they shut it down. I guess they had trouble monitizing it? I always wondered whether this could actually become a useful+profitable product.

This is also essentially built into Clip Studio. It’s usually not worth the effort. You have to spend a lot of time putting down color hints for it to do anything remotely good, and at that point you’re already basically laying in the painting anyway.

I'd say it depends on the original line art: for anime it seems to put mostly correct colors right from the get-go, saving some time for the basic coloring. But most other art styles, you have to do most of the work yourself, as you said

The shades are almost always too much, especially the cat.

The results are impressive.

This has the most fabulous collection of examples I ever saw. It's a testament to the power of art-automation. Infinite beauty becomes accessable.

SEPA is a poor choice to rename especially I'm the EU, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single_Euro_Payments_Area?wpro...
