In essence evolution is chaos. Biological on large time scales, social on much smaller, but still chaos and no such thing as a grand design in anything anywhere anytime.
Thus as civilization advances more chaos happens. To be happier we must get back in development and to a lower state of chaos. Not sure if this is physically sound, from the point of entropy, but it is quite tought-provoking.
Yesterday domestication, today self driving cars, tomorrow super intelligence. Is that good or bad? If we knew no such thing as philosophy would exist :)
