Somewhat of a subjective question, but, in your experience, what have been the best and worst programming languages to physically type on your keyboard? Can the language ergonomics outweigh the typing out the language ergonomics? I'd really like to see the incidence of RSI between say Python and Perl developers- but that seems like a silly avenue of research.

Worst character in this neighborhood is "~". It is AltGr+"~" followed by spacebar. It is same as "ã", but the "a" is replaced with " ". Takes always 3 tries to make it right.
