Amateur Sleuths Broke the Wuhan Lab Story and Embarrassed the Media (newsweek.com)

Reason for submitting this: it explains the lab-leak theory better than most stories submitted before (that I’ve seen), as well as tracing / explaining the timeline of the research.

It also includes other pieces of the puzzle that I haven’t come across before (including details of coronavirus research performed by WIV, and the extent of China’s blocking of the research), and all together significantly increases my posterior probability of the lab-leak hypothesis.

Note: it might still be biased (based mainly on the account of one of the amateur researchers that followed the theory).

Also there may be some question about the reliability of Newsweek. (Disclaimer: I haven't read these yet.)
