There's buyers remorse and there's generational shifts. We're going through a huge transformative moment right now. With the addition of Zen3 and the new GPUs this a huge bang/buck improvement across the board. We haven't seen such a shift in many years.

Most of the time I would advise against waiting but right now there's a clear advantage to being on the other side of this shift.
