Intel has an internal systemic problem. The company is run for shareholders, and it is run by sales, marketing and HR teams. The engineers have become second-class citizens, hardware engineers and then at the bottom of the pile are software engineers. When an engineering company is run by a sales-marketing-hr combo, whatever you do it is not going to have better outcomes. Intel is surviving because of achievements of it's founders. They are still reaping the benefits of that. The question is how long!
