Ask any IT people and public, how to follow up the changes? Can you use what is being done 5 years ago then now?
Yes it is better than in 1990 vs 1995 or 1995 vs 2000 etc. You really have to learn a total paradigm. Java, unix, windows, object programming gui ... now the basic is done but still no. The python you learn is not important vs the one doing AI for example.
