In NL the country is full with separate bycicle infrastructure, making it a paradise for cyclers.

You're not kidding. I took a 30 second jaunt with google maps and found this:

Note how it is physically impossible for the cars to drive or park in the bike lanes. Very cool.


If I recall correctly from my visit, the bike lanes actually get plowed after a snowstorm before the car lanes! I like those priorities.
