Thanks for the tip. Too bad the iPad doesn't seem to let you open up a keyboard window if there aren't any text inputs on the page. I'll have to check it out later from a more fully featured computer.

On Android, you can long-hold the menu key to bring up a keyboard at any time. Maybe iOS has a similar, undocumented feature.
