Linus has spent decades of his life creating and tending one of the most socially useful pieces of software ever created. Now he's being vilified by a bunch of craven busybodies.
Although he's treating it with undeserved grace in public, it seems entirely possible that this will end his serious involvement with the project. Which is tragic.
