nice write up and some comparisons - I imagine taking this info and making a chart / table to show newer users their options and what they do.

question - when "an option to either sandbox or block an entire domain." or other things like "Delete the offending posts Sandbox the account Disable access to the account temporarily Remove the account and all of its data permanently" --- Does the account from the other server, err, domain - get a notice saying their attempts to dm or hashtag into someone's feed have been blocked or is it more like a shadowban?

Also, I wonder about finding methods for blocking ips, subnets, cidrs, hostnames from ISPs - is there a built in method for doing those kinds of blocks? OR maybe toots coming from other networks only come from the X number IP addys that the other mastadon servers have, so it's not a big deal for incoming tweets, but may be an issue for blocking people signing up for new accounts on your own server, in which case something like http://access.watch/ or other tools may be better for blocking on an individual server with blocking sign ups when a troll comes from 20 vpns in a single hour?

Glad to see an upcoming system focus on the abuse and moderation which is even harder in the federated world, and yet appears to be considered and handled more than some of the bigger projects getting lots of use recently.

Thanks for that, and I wish there were more art options in the merch store that help support the project.
