A fairly powerful, fanless computer with a 6 year warranty that can run multiple 4K displays for less than a well built MBPro is probably worth it to quite a few people. Besides people who just "want" a fanless PC, there are lab applications that require noiseless computers. Noiseless lab computers are VERY expensive. I'm sure there are many other professional use cases where $1800 isn't that much money. Maybe video/audio production?
