Nice! To be honest my reaction to removing subscriptions was a bit 'ehh, I get it, I know I should be pleased, but subscriptions are actually really convenient'.
But this is pretty much fine. Maybe/hopefully (I'm not too lazy to check - 'GB' is 'upcoming') I can Amazon-subscribe and the only difference will be a bit of code-entering admin.
So we don’t classify jailed and tortured Julian Assange as a journalist even though he broke amongst some of the biggest news stories over the last 20 years. Or that the Trump administration planned on assasinating him. Or that Joe Biden is trying to extradite him on trumped up charges (pun not intended).
Or the Black TV reporter Bilal Abdul Kareem from Chicago that Obama tried to kill multiple times:
Requiring compilation to WASM to then translate it back to C and compile it again might be a bit strange. Clang obviously already has the tools to do the WASM sanitizing, it might be really cool to have a way to directly enforce those rules outside of WASM.
The UK/Ireland 3 prong duckhead is grounded. I have no idea why third parties haven't produced grounded versions, other than the obvious (no demand and anyone who cares has a solution, use the extension cable).
Amazon is filled with cheap junk nowadays. I don't trust them for anything important. Case in point: I recently purchased an air purifier but was worried that I would get a fake product since they are notorious for co-mingling. I ended up buying one from Target online which also has free two day shipping now. For anyone who is looking for an alternative to Amazon, it seems like the big retailers (Walmart, Target, Best Buy) have finally caught up with their online offerings. I don't think I'll ever buy anything important from Amazon again until they fix their trash problem.
