Developer of interactive experiences, graphics, and embedded software. I've worked as a freelancer for 13 years. I'm looking for a full-time opportunity with unique challenges, and a culture where I can always be learning, as well as mentoring.

Some of my work involves graphics and visuals, here's a video reel: http://controlzinc.com/

Get a Note 4 (or Note 3). I love mine. I replaced the battery with a 7,500 mAh unit, it's a $30 kit you can buy from Amazon.

To download, Scribd demands Facebook authentication, or that new users create an account.

Then they demand payment, or that you "give back to the community" by "uploading something of your own".

Is this document available for free, with no strings attached?

When I was creating tunings for Angel Harp, some of the tunings had bugs, but they were more beautiful than what I originally intended. So I kept them. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/angel-harp/id490827417?mt=8&#...

My attempt at Level 1:

  class Player
    def play_turn(warrior)
      warrior.walk!(:right)
    end
  end
The warrior keeps bumping in to a wall, and the code fails.

This is counter-intuitive, because the exit is to the right of the warrior. I can't endure another N levels of nonintuitive frustration, sorry.

actually the warrior starts facing right (which is not specified but could be supposed). so :right is actually moving down, since all movements are relative, which is inferred by :forward and :backward being present and :up :down missing, which I suppose would rather be :north :south :east and :west. Once you also understand that tips really are not, but the necessary API doc, well, it's smooth sailing.

I'd like to see this question posed as a survey. How much money has your app earned: $10-$99, $100-$999, $1,000-$9,999...

If you're really curious, my iOS app Twang was featured by Apple for 3 weeks. Revenue-wise, it does not belong to the choices I listed above: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/twang/id353688232?mt=8

So you've made more than $10k, could you give a possible range, also how long has it been on the market?

Very cool app, ho do people find out about it, have you tested different price points?

*As for a survey, I think some people have a basket of apps that perform differently, so not sure a survey would work.

Twang has been on the market for 16 months. I have tested a few price points, and the difference between $.99 and $2.99 has hardly affected sales, so $2.99 is the way to go!

I can't compile this. What am I doing wrong? Here is the output:

$ gcc -o donut donut.c -lm

donut.c:1: warning: data definition has no type or storage class

donut.c: In function ‘main’:

donut.c:4: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function ‘printf’

donut.c:5: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function ‘memset’

They're just warnings. I got the same ones but it still created a perfectly good executable. (you kind of have to assume warnings with obfuscated code :)

You need to go add:

  #include <stdio.h>
  #include <string.h>
and then add int directly before the k on the first line of the donut.

No, he does not. All he needs is:

  ./donut
:)

Using your suggestions, and compiler errors, I got this:

TBH, this is beautiful.

That did it. Thanks!

Good to know. A fast internet connection would be nice, but 3G is acceptable.

What amenities should a hacker colony have? I'm thinking: fast internet, quiet cabins, food delivered to your door, remote area that is good for walking & exploring, easy access to a nearby town (maybe via shuttle).

Thanks! Since it's cheap, I could eat out more often, and spend less time on cooking & cleaning...

No worries. I spent four months backpacking through six countries and Borneo was the highlight for me. You could probably live quite comfortably for $6-7k/year.

I perceived the second 'the'. Does this mean I have a non-human brain?
