This is a diary app where you can share your memories once a day and dedicate them to anyone you care about. At the same time, usage on the app builds reputation for all human beings, which will, hopefully, serve as a basis for a larger societal purpose...
If indefinite life extension ever becomes possible it would create an uberclass of people, those who could afford this new technology in the first place. A true god-like class defined by power and immortality. If you think social and economic inequality is bad, what about existential inequality?

I like what he is saying. Money is just one form of affirmation among many others. All of them respectable, money is just more tangible and conspicuous.
Privacy matters will only get worse and worse. At the end of the day, we are actually buying perfect snooping devices (cam, mic, gps) and wearing them 24/7. With our own money. And for the benefit of others, strangers or institutions.
I don't think anyone can realistically expect to find a google-scale diamond in the rough at every single YC batch. "Frighteningly Ambitious Startup Ideas" I suppose is about a process of collective unconscious iteration that would yield such a diamond every 5 or 10 years.
The problem of input (reading, listening, watching) without output (writing, speaking, doing) is that, at the end of the day, you have nothing to show for your time. And since none of us are telepaths, to the outside world, it is like you haven't even existed that day.
