Yes! This is very cool. Should be somewhat “locked” into the right area of scroll and picked item should have some height above the others.

> never put a raw cauliflower in your fridge

Why?

Because roasted cauliflower is so much better and more versatile and it keeps. Roast the cauliflower off on your toaster oven, stick it in a ziploc, and then put it in your fridge.

Ah I see, I thought there was a health concern :-). Roasting it is a good idea, but FWIW raw cauliflower also keeps for a long time in a fridge.

It is a health concern! You'll eat a lot more cauliflower if you roast it all and cauliflower is good for you.

If you use gitlab, you can use the command line "glab" tool to have agents work from the built in kanban. They can open and close tasks, start MRs off of them etc. It's not as integrated as this tool, but works well with a mix of humans and robots.

Interesting, hadn't heard of that. Would better GitLab support be useful in Vibe Kanban?

Yes, being able to use Gitlab as a provider would mean that we would jump on the tool, being Gitlab-based. :)

This is so fun. I built this into a live performance tool I am using this weekend. Thank you for sharing!

Minor UX feedback

- I find the internal scroll of setting up the presets limiting. Because the whole top half is fixed it is hard to see all my settings at once. Could either the whole panel scroll?

- In dark mode, the "Save" button is black on dark grey and looks disabled.

- The delete button is scarily prominent and no confimation. Can that be moved inside the preset panel so i dont accidently hit it while performing?

Looks nice, immediately wanted to multiselect audio (rain AND Middle East)

https://mynoise.net has a ton of sound generators, pomodoro mode, and lets you mix the generators any way you like (see https://mynoise.net/superGenMaker.php) or combine the stems from multiple generators into one (see the directions at the bottom of https://mynoise.net/Community/).

After donating you can also have it make an hour long MP3 of any mix which is useful when offline.

I had the same thought. I've been layering multiple ASMR/ambient youtube videos recently and I find it amazingly relaxing.

For example, currently listening to these three:

There's a million different options out there and it's surprising what layers well.

I suppose one could do it with... 2 browser tabs. Ah but you end up with 2 countdowns.

Makes me wonder about the difference between "ambient cafe: Starbucks" vs "ambient cafe: somewhere in the Middle East"...

A cozy cafe in the middle of a desert with rain outside. Not sure if that makes sense, but I love the vibe

Haha never thought about that. Maybe I can find a way to add something like that.

Plus you could get one of those long pokey sticks and stab the finished tasks on it. Seems satisfying.

Appreciate the quest indicator on the article :-)

Ah! Thanks for pointing it out.

Haha thanks!

Yes, you can get one that prints shipping labels

Do you have a demo of this? Sounds cool

This app is not exactly your idea but it is along the same lines. You "drive" towards the letter you want by shifting your finger. It is the most interesting text input I've ever seen and have always thought it would be cool with some sort of joystick input.

Edit: this link has a video: https://acecentre.org.uk/project/dasher-for-ios/

Ha! That’s me! If anyone wants to help dasher dev please get in touch. We need $$$ or some good c coders willing to spend a couple of months working on it all. It’s good. It’s the fastest text interface for eyegaze, head mouse or “continuous gesture”. We need it desperately for those who can’t speak

Woah, nice! I am definitely not a c coder, but I'm a UX designer. I've thought this project was cool for years and would be interested in helping out if my skills are ever of any use.

Oooh yes. Yes. Let’s chat. We have some ux stuff done by a googler focusing on the config etc. people are desperate to do the zooming bit - I’ve try to hold back the tide until we can do the basics but I’d love some help tying up the designs on the overall app. wwade @ acecentre.org.uk

Great, sent you an email
