I've seen the same devs refuse to use a library because the last commit was 3 months ago, despite the library being extremely popular, battle tested, and existing for 10 years.

I'm currently paying $800ish a month for digital ocean servers that I know would fit on a single hetzner machine :/

I dont understand the additional complexity of mocking bash when they could just provide grep, ls, find, etc tools to the LLM

agents are trained on bash grep/ls/find, not on tool-calling grep/ls/find

I agree that would have been the way to go given more time and resources. However, setting up a FUSE mount would have taken significantly longer and required additional infrastructure.

The volumes on the majority of markets are very small

Are you downplaying the incentive for bad actors to generate false or misleading information online in order to create a margin for monetary gain?

This, in the same country that has allocated some of the greatest minds of our generation towards tasks like High Frequency Trading under the guise of “price discovery”?

Forgive me if I’m a little less credulous than you.

Claude code is distributed as a minified JS bundle so you cant just easily patch in this functionality

I’m told that this new LLM tech is great at deminimizing minified javascript, no?

I've been using Parakeet V3 locally and totally ancedotaly this feels more accurate but slightly slower

Any further reading on this?

how can the services of cloudflare be easily replaced if I require you to go through cloudflare to access my site?

Its even done in some US territories!

routing in SPAs

Yes but usually the routing is done as part of a library so the developers are unlikely to interact with the API themselves. It will just affect the internals of their routing library. Those libraries already have their own implementation of similar stuff.
