Is it just me but the links are missing in the text only page?

Reminds me of a quote I once read of "marketing being a game of diminishing returns".

When you find a working marketing solution, it's just a matter of time when it dries out, because of competitors and overall saturation.

Yes but it's possible that the marketing channel is very profitable before drying out. Also the less a channel is known the more it will take to reach saturation. So there might be channels that are very profitable and well hidden, the problem is that by definition it might be too hard/expensive to find them.

I can't rule out competition here, definitely part of it - cost per click has gone up a lot over the years

Oh man, we need also incorporate a lean and agile iterative approach, where everyone need to participate in sprint planning. Imagine having to fit in all the necessary sprint items and how to choose between them!

And in the end of each sprint a single exe comes out. Or multiple. Like a soap opera for product managers.

Little computer people was awesome[0]. Upscale it to a full size microsoft office[3]. Give agents neck bearded avatars with green hair named after real employees except from legal, there everyone is a pirate. Make it so that one can zoom in on everything and follow the cringe worthy dialog in overloaded sprint-planners that some~how work out. Take style pointers from KRAZAM Microservices[12] and gar1t's "Nodejs is bad ass rockstar tech"[44]

Yeah, and it could be more like satire of "developer spends 15k to run a basic lying chatbot" or something like that :)

Plus some of the stories seem to be a bit old like openai board controversy remark.

All in all, some funny stuff i agree!

Ironically, I can't read the Reddit post with my VPN.

I'm pretty sure reddits reason for blocking VPN's is they want the AI scrapers to pay them for a data feed.

They also block data center IP's

Signing up for Reddit through a VPN has been difficult to impossible for a long time.

The amount of abuse that comes through VPN-sourced IP addresses is much higher than normal. It's common to block it on any social media site.

Mullvad can typically get through Reddit security after switching nodes for a bit.

They block but they do allow you to browse if you're logged in

Yes, but don't call me Shirley.

Thank you

Boring. Tried to explore sexuality related topics, but Alphabet is stuck in some Christianity Dark Ages.

Edit: Okay, I admit I'm used to dealing with OpenAI models and it seems you have to be extra careful with wording with Gemini. Once you have right wording like "explore my own sexuality" and avoid certain words, you can get it going pretty interestingly.

Soldering your TV in 2026 sounds like real fun ...

This sounds about right, and should be incorporated everywhere.

All these calculations (of feasibility and maintenance challenges) are fascinating, but really just silly.

Of course we are going to use AI and robots, like AI robots, and stuff. It's going to be fully self-operating and the future!

But more seriously, thanks for great learning experiences about space to HN commenters.
