Hi HN – I’m Shubham (ex-Shopify, IIT Guwahati). My co-founder and I are building FilFlo, the “Shopify of fulfilment” for India’s exploding D2C market.

What we’ve done so far:

* Live product & revenue – 5 paying brands (Sleepy Owl Coffee, Anveshan, PTAL, etc.) generating *₹8 L MRR (~$10 k).

* Team – 3 full-time engineers, me on sales & GTM, Navdeep on post-sales / customer success.

* Stack – React + Node, Mongo, Docker, Fly.io. Early AI features via GPT-4o for real-time ops insights.

* Problem – Brands juggle spreadsheets, ERPs and WhatsApp threads to keep inventory, warehouses and finance in sync. FilFlo gives them one pane of glass and (soon) autonomous agents that flag issues and take action.

---

Why we need you

We’re ready to ship our "first deep AI workflows" (stock-out prediction, auto-PO, self-healing dispatch). To make this sing we need a founding Product Manager (option to join as third co-founder) who can:

1. Own product strategy, roadmap and UX end-to-end.

2. Translate messy ops problems into lovable software that our dev team can build fast.

3. Drive AI feature discovery (LLM-powered agents, rules engines, feedback loops).

4. Talk to customers daily and ruthlessly prioritize what moves their KPIs.

5. Set up product analytics / instrumentation so we measure what matters.

---

You might be a fit if

* 2-5 yrs shipping B2B SaaS / platform products (bonus: supply-chain, fintech, infra, or applied AI).

* Comfortable thinking in APIs, data models and simple UI copy.

* Zero fear of hopping on a truck dock or warehouse floor to see problems first-hand.

* Can write crisply (PRDs, release notes) and think strategically (market, pricing, positioning).

* Located in (or willing to relocate to) Delhi NCR / Gurugram. Remote within ±5 hrs IST possible for the right person.

---

What we offer

* Meaningful equity – this is an early seat.

* Salary to clear your living costs (we’re revenue-funded; fundraising now).

* A greenfield to build India’s first AI-native fulfilment OS.

* Customers who already love us and push new feature requests weekly.

* Access to our network of 200+ D2C operators and investors (YC app in flight).

---

Sound interesting? Shoot a quick intro + something you’ve shipped to shubham@filflo.in with subject “HN PM – <your name>”. Happy to share product demo links, metrics and roadmap in return.

– Shubham

The real problem with plastics is that they are really cheap.

which is because they don't have externalities priced in

It’s more that plastics are a byproduct of oil production.

As oil consumption falls, plastics will rise in price as there is less raw materials produced by oil refining.

Much like if demand for beef and milk fell, leather could be more expensive.

No, the problem is missing infrastructure for waste processing.

What do you propose, how should it be resolved? What would your proposal's potential consequences be (both cons and pros)?

I guess the suggestion you're trying to tease out is that disposable plastics are prohibitively taxed and people adjust to living with reusable containers. Cons: people have to adjust and the plastic lobby might suffer.

"Really cheap" in the short term perhaps. Very expensive in the long term.

What price do you put in the extinction of a species? Millions of years of evolution flushed down the toilet so one person can have their disposable water bottle.

The problem is externalized cost: the people making the decision to use the plastics aren't the ones holding the bill for its disposal.

Twitter is a filter bubble in its entirety.
