This isn't related to the linked page, but taking a quick look at your noisli.com homepage, I'm fairly certain there are some low hanging accessibility issues you could address. Off the top of my head:
- Your text on that background colour does not provide enough contrast, my guess is that it won't pass WCAG AA requirements
- Keyboard navigation using Tab causes focus to jump down the page's content, skipping its navigation and CTA links
You can use extensions such as "axe DevTools" and "Accessibility Insights for Web" to run some quick automated tests to uncover more issues.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak lots of companies need to work remotely and we want to help! We're offering 2 months free of our Business plan to companies impacted by the COVID-19 situation, so employees can have a digital place for calm and focus also when working from home.
We are happy and excited to share something we have been working so long and hard on.
Noisli 3.0 is a complete redesign and rebuild of our Web app which provides a cleaner and better user interface and some great new features. You can see what’s new here https://blog.noisli.com/introducing-noisli-3-0/
For those of you who don’t know Noisli: we provide background sounds that mask distracting noises around you in order to help you work and relax.
You can get inspired by our playlists or mix and match the different sounds and create your own perfect sound environment tailored to your needs. We also offer a timer to help you work in sessions, so to help you prevent burnout (because nobody can concentrate for 8 hours straight), as well as a text editor with a distraction-free writing mode.
Noisli was born in 2013 out of a personal need to fight the lack of noise when we worked from home and to tune out the distractions when we had to work from an open office. We’re on a mission to create a calm place for focus no matter where you’re working from today, and we’re big believers in creating a valuable product which is long lasting and brings you joy while using it.
I'm Stefano and I am one of the two Noisli co-founders.
After launching on Web, iOS and as Chrome extension, today we just launched our Android app. Yay!!
Quickly about Noisli: Noisli is a service that helps to drown out annoying noises so to better concentrate and to enhance productivity, and it is being used by office workers, developers, writers, students and in general by people that have to work in an environment which is either too loud or too quiet. Noisli is also used to help you to fall asleep, to mask Tinnitus and to help with ADD and ADHD..
Being a very small team and aiming for high quality standard in both experience and design, the development for Android took longer than forecasted and has sometimes been very challenging. But we worked very hard to make it happen and I am very excited of this new addition to the Noisli family.
As for every respectable product, we see the development as an ongoing process and there might still be some bumps along the way, but this is the reason why any feedback you might have is very precious for us and for our mission.
If you have any feedback or comment I'll be happy to follow up :)
