Series A Christmas trees. Only in the Bay Area. It would be great to add pictures of how the trees look like.

True, we are having things coming up as we speak like profiles. But we really wanted to launch something to test the idea as we are continuously building on it. We tested this idea by doing this for a couple of startups already and are trying to see if we can sale this. Thanks for your support! I will keep you updated on our progress!

Thank you for your support! We have done this for a few startups and wanted to see how quickly we can scale. We updated the phone and are surprised by the number of calls and emails we are getting in such a short time. We are super-stoked! Thank you HN community! I would love to answer any questions any one may have about our service!

I would try to send out cold emails to startups/small companies that you would like to work for and tell them what you WANT to work on. You are much more likely to get their attention and open yourself up to opportunities to work remotely than just applying to job boards/etc.

Great Article. Though I wonder how much weight is given to your interview/product growth VS. background of the founders(which you can't really hack)

I don't know for sure but my feeling is that showing that you're the type of founders that will make things happen is much more important than having a stellar background.

Many YC founders are very young and don't have a killer background yet they can show that they have what it takes to succeed as entrepreneurs.

I know that we didn't have an amazing background and still made it in :)

Pretty cool

I like the article both for its in-depth biographical content and also for its attempt to paint Musk in an other-than-glowing light.

Of course, I think the author fails; I sense the bias to portray Musk as unaware of the PR cost of astronauts dying – and I still can't help but see through that to the unbelievable achievements Musk has already completed and the amazing promise of what he's trying to do.
