Does anyone have resources or ideas to share on the merits of dependency injection in js/ts ? To me it almost always feels clunky and antithetical to the spcriptey nature of JS/TS.

We described our reasoning behind flavor of DI (dependency graph solvers) in several talks which are listed here https://github.com/7mind/izumi?tab=readme-ov-file#docs

Most of the benefits do not depend on any particular language/runtime/stack.

is there anything more concise than "several talks"?

Yeah, docs and examples here: https://izumi.7mind.io/distage/

Why would the choice of programming language matter at all with respect to DI?

It shouldn't. DI as a set of patterns and approaches can be implemented anywhere. The language and the runtime can help you or be a hindrance, but the principles are generic.

SE at Upflow here ! I've been working there since the very beginning, and it's been absolutely fantastic. We have already changed the way a bunch of companies get paid, and helped them get huge sums of money back to run their business, and that feels great.

As for the work atmosphere, it strikes a great balance between the exhilarating ride of launching a startup and the calm and self-care required to be in it for the long run :)

I really don't like the idea of an HTML-based GUI, but isn't anyone else too thinking that a GUI with this effects would just be gorgeous?!

7.5k stars is "most underrated"?

You should have seen it before it got mentioned on HN :D

I have noticed exactly the same thing, having been in High School in France until 2013. However, I wonder if this idea isn't a red herring since it looks like some people have had this feeling for decades (or maybe there has been a steady decline of our academic level since then).

+1 my dear.

And if the killings occur in gun free zones, Concealed carry permit holders won't be able to defend themselves, right ?

Even if the ones perpetrating these crimes have no gun permits, the existence of gun permits itself makes gun ownership commonplace, allowing the "crazies" easier acquisition and possession of guns
