I am working on https://beta.colorguesser.com/ - a small daily color guessing game.

A few years ago it started as colorguesser.com - which is not much maintained, but since there are many new users enjoying this small game, I decide to invest more time and add more feature.

TrailerSpoiler.com [0]

It annoys me how much a bad trailer can spoil the movie, so I made this platform to rate trailers how "spoily" they are and how good they are. To my surprise, you find some great trailers without many spoilers, but then you will have trailers which are basically a 3-min summary of the movie.

I developed a few utilities to help me track the words and expressions I know in a language (and also see which words in other languages are missing). Tried to port it to an app [0], but it's not perfect yet.

Careful using the Anki name, the original author of the app recently registered a trademark.

> Anki is a registered trademark of Ankitects Pty Ltd.

Why does it forward to https://tidewave.ai/ when I type http://localhost:4000/tidewave ?

You are first redirected for authentication purposes. Once authenticated, it redirects back to your app.

The attention to details, it's probably sorted by their contributions in percentage as well (not sure how to get that for such a project, but nvm).

I’ve created a few "daily puzzle" games (e.g., [0] and [1]), and it still surprises me when I meet a random stranger who occasionally plays them. Even now, I can’t quite explain why people keep coming back to the site every day. But maybe for many, it's just a small daily ritual to distract for a few minutes.

That’s exactly what I found fascinating while researching this — the “why” seems to be part habit loop, part social cue, and part micro-reward.

Idk why people are always so harsh online. This is clearly stated as "experimental".

Experiments can fail. It's ok for them to fail. And while this one looks pretty cool, it's not usable, at all. Hence the comment.

I am trying to figure out how to do marketing for my journaling app for language learning. Basically, you journal in a foreign language and see grammar and other mistakes directly in the app: https://langdiary.com

I managed to ship my journaling app [0] focused on language learners. Basically, you write your journals in a different language and see corrections.

Gonna focus on marketing and improving the app.

Can you give more info on that? the website is not very clear what it is, so basically it's an app to learn languages?

It's learning languages by employing "thinking method" where you learn new language using English, mostly, as a basis. In the case of some languages, like Spanish, using the knowledge of common Latin roots. And thinking method itself focuses on learning the rules rather than memorizing individual words. Here[1] the author explains his method in details, in a guidebook for writers of new courses.
