I designed the communications system for these satellites, and as VO's plans developed with regards to orbit, the original link to the ground station became harder and harder to close reliably in Utah Valley thanks to the mountains. Since it is all open, we are hoping intrepid radio listeners and operators near the 915Mhz ISM band can pick up the telemetry and identify the satellite. Modulation is GFSK, it beacons every 30s.
