To non-Americans, "global financial crisis" is the standard name we use for it. Inside the US (at least from my experience, when I lived there a few years ago) it was just financial crisis (without "global"), or the housing crash. Draw from that what conclusions you will about how Americans see their place in the world ;)
The only thing AI and VS Code have in common is that they are both tools. But thats where it stops.
The workflow is totally different, even though the output might look the same. When coding "by hand", thinking and reasoning is mandatory. When using LLMs its optional.

To be honest, I agree with the people saying that this isnt discords responsibility. The real baddies are already using other services, and IIRC Discord has handed over user data for other cases as well
