Sounds like a good idea, looking forward to seeing the evolution of it!

Many thanks for your support!

Fun fact, Flat design originated from Swiss Style - http://dojo.techsamurais.com/?p=1232

>> ..and “Helvetica” means Switzerland in Latin

Today I learned.

Nope, that's Helvetia. Helveticus is the adjective (Helvetica is the feminine. English has Helvetic as a less common form of "Helvetian", which indicates primarily an ancient Swiss inhabitant but could also broadly refer to a Swiss of today.

Quantopian has a really good platform for creating algorithms, back testing them on historical data, and for performing real time trades.

Saw this yesterday on Reddit, and been using it since, great improvement if you use command line git!

4M units is as of last summer (March to August), they've sold more than that by now. That's comparable to Bioshock 2 sales.

To put this in contrast, this is the most successful console launch, they sold more in one day than any other consoles have in a month from their launch (from neogaf.com):

It's not "in a day". It's all preorders.

That's still one day, all pre-orders are picked up on day 1.

But they have been ordered months in advance.

Hey, that's an awesome idea! Really really awesome.

A bit of unsolicited feedback: It would be great if you could start offering whole "cataloges" of websites (e.g. [1] ) in some way. I hope you guys are thinking about my need for discount quality whisky!

Just last night I asked my girlfriend if she would find something like this useful. (We had been eying a piece of furniture that was on sale, when suddenly on refreshing the page the sale disappeared...)

hey i like your idea but i think there's some things you can do to make it better. i've thought about similar ideas but had issues with how tech would stall in the case with retail/fashion products (the only market I would recommend you start off at).

let me know if you want to talk more.

The link from reddit links to the PHP mailing list.

Anyhow, it seems like that's the fundamental issue with PHP internals.

...and it shows.

Because the discussion on reddit is relevant.

nope

Flat design is the digital adaptation of Swiss style design.
