+1 for hey.com. Learning curve coming off years of both outlook & gmail, but been nice to be using a service that is actually working to earn my money by making email better.

If you haven’t yet i recommend their family plan. 5 accounts for less than the price of 2.

This made sense for me as two of my family are already using it.

I appreciated using the Nvidia Tools for remapping webcam eye-contact until I was reviewing a recording and noticed that it changed my eye color. But it’s been a bit. Perhaps an undocumented feature that newer versions/models fixed.

This tracks with the product demo idea of ‘do the last thing first’. No need to make the audience ‘earn’ the payoff - just skip right to the good stuff and then go over the rest for the folks that care. (This and much more from reviews of a whole bunch of demos here: https://web.archive.org/web/20220126051034/https://www.secon...)

Hugh Howey self-published his Wool series and has written some good stuff about the process of self-publishing (and the publishing industry in general): <https://hughhowey.com/?s=self-publishing>
