Isn't AI more like a personal instructor etc and not a social media? Weird comparison imo. We didn't get search engines too wrong and there are good search engines too as well as corporate ones.

anhedonia, struggling to pay bills, messing up with psychedelics, rich people on teslas everywhere you go look at you like they are better than you. life is great.

doesn't work on my articles

It doesn't bring anything new, just enhanced on top of what already exists, not even close to photography or film.

I'm good at what I love and the world needs it. Also it's a 6 figure salary. I just followed my passion, never really followed the money. Many people I met who followed the money and desperately failed. As a result spending years on something that just didn't work out. Think for yourself and plan you future accordingly to your situation.

nope, I've been for quite some time too

We do, it doesn't change anything in OPs statement tho. What's the point?

Really?

OP makes the classic error to assume that A) physical engineering isn't changing; B) computer world is analogous to physical.

By the time the bricklayers are there to start on the project, most of the time the choice of cement mixture is already made. For most projects, a standard cement mixture is used and a custom one isn't even needed.

When issues do arise during the project, an expert is brought in/consulted. Standard cement formula's might change over time, for varied reasons, but it's not the bricklayers that keep themselves busy with that.

The same hold true for most IT projects.

Definitely not my experience. Even if you say choose Spring Boot the architecture and somewhat lower level constantly change.

it's extremely fast, and result is quite good too. It was used quite heavily in the upcoming dune for ex
