Compound weight training has been shown to increase bone density and decrease cognitive decline in the elderly regardless of gender. Even starting at a later age (60+) still shows many positive benefits in anecdotal and scientific studies.

An EMP attack from an enemy nation is unlikely but a solar flare could happen at any time. In 1859 the world experienced an enormous geomagnetic storm when a coronal mass ejection hit Earth's magnetosphere. If the same solar flare happened today most of the world's power grid could be wiped out minus government and military hardened assets.
If you look at current pictures of operators in the field many are already using Android phones (usually Samsung). They primarily mount on the upper chest in the admin area of a plate carrier which helps keep the phone out of the way and makes the device immediately accessible. This Tactical Edition uses a Juggernaut case which is already the defacto standard case and mounting solution. ATAK is an interesting platform even in the limited version civilians have access to.
There are no buttons, so there’s a pretty big limit to the accessibility (although I’ve seen the catastrophic UIs on the previous generation of military gear that was mostly resistive touch so maybe this is considered an improvement.)
Plus that still doesn’t answer the complete lack of stability in android; stuff crashing all the time is just how the OS is designed to function.

The book Little Brother by Cory Doctorow mentions an innocuous home screen or desktop that is accessed via alternate password and I've always wanted to see it actually implemented.
Probably has to do with Hacker Noon migrating from Medium to their own platform. Some of the formatting and metadata may have gotten malformed in the move.
